I am absolutely in love with the universal energy this weekend. And by the sounds of the Melbourne weather it appears mother Gaia wants to contribute and whip things up a bit with the wind she’s blowing around.
As we know it is Easter, ruled by the beautiful and one of my most favourite Goddesses Ostara. As we are in the southern hemisphere unfortunately our seasons and the traditional celebrations don’t actually match up. This being that Easter and Ostara are about Spring and new beginnings. But thats ok with me. We can celebrate the energy twice.
Therefore as Easter is about new beginnings, new projects, fresh starts; it is fantabulous that Saturday we experience a full moon!
As we all know (and if we don’t already) Full moon energy is about releasing, letting go, finishing off and closing that which we no longer require anymore.
Therefore we have a beautiful 48 hour period of natural transition and universal energy supporting our causes, our wishes, our most important and sacred dreams.
Our moon is full at 5:19am (EST).
Any moon wishing is best achieved closest to the time but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t going to work any time before or after on that day. It is about the intention as I have spoken about before.
We then, having cleansed, released and let go have the beautiful ceremony of Easter/Ostara and celebrating the new gifts she encourages into our lives. This isn’t about religion. This is about the energy and long held rituals many have integrated into their lives before us. If you want to join it with the religion you identify with so be it. The stronger the blessing and intention the better. I will try to fit a post in about Ostara on Sunday.
Many blessings to you over this holiday period. May it be sacred and all that you wish for it.
