Self care strategy #3

Feed your body with fresh nourishing foods. We all know this one works. But we all seem to forget. This is a form of self care. Yes in the spur of the moment that chocolate, chips, donut or alcohol feel like self care but long term, at a cellular level, caring for our bodies with healthy food full of life force is a whole lot more beneficial. Let’s think long term self care not just emotional immediate self care. I’m not a saint but what I do aim for is mindfulness and better choices. Each meal we have the choice to start new. So I’m not saying berate yourself for poorer choices, I’m offering to be mindful of choosing better options for food intake. The healthier and fresher they are, the better.
