Listen to your body. What is it telling you? Our body speaks to us and let’s us know how we are feeling, what our thoughts are and what we need to do. It can be really helpful if we are not paying attention to our thoughts. Often our disconnection with our thoughts manifests in the body. We really just have to quiet and connect. Pay attention to its physical expression ~ pain, injury, discomfort or impairment in function. Work with what it presents you. This will not only heal the physical but bring an awareness to the intellectual and emotional concern. Good books that are helpful to follow up in relation to the mind body connection are Louise Hay’s Heal your body, Annette Noontil’s The Body is the barometer of your soul and Inna Segal’s The secret language of your body.
